Defence Minister Katz Vows Northern Residents' Security After Nahariya Rocket Strike
מול משבר האמון בצפון, כ"ץ שוב מבטיח ביטחון: "תושבי דרום לבנון לא יחזרו לבתיהם"
Summary
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz visited Nahariya, where a Hezbollah rocket wounded 15 people, and pledged that some half a million displaced Lebanese residents would not be allowed to return to their homes in southern Lebanon until security for northern Israel is guaranteed. Katz told Ynet that Israel would continue to degrade Hezbollah's fire capacity, adding "the home front is strong." Former PM Naftali Bennett also visited the site, backing the government's stance and calling for the north to be "freed from the burden."
