Doron Shpilman, a former IDF spokesperson for foreign media during the war who previously escorted diplomats on tours of the City of David, has been appointed spokesperson for the new national public diplomacy body, a role that did not previously exist. A director for the body was also recently appointed after a three-and-a-half-year vacancy.
